Art History Collection

The digital image database includes an expansive collection of images from the Visual Resources Collection of the Department of Art History and Music at Fordham University. The bulk of the collection was digitized from the slide library built up over the years by our faculty. The collection, which is in the process of development, maintains a growing image collection related to global art and architecture from prehistoric times to the present.

The database contains nearly 100,000 images, including our featured collection of Latin American Art. Access to the digital image collection through the Fordham Library's Digital Collection. Please, email kfostano@fordham.edu if you have problems accessing the collection. The VRC also subscribes to ARTstor through the University’s Libraries.
